At this point if a ground blind and decoys would make one gobble I would deploy them today! Unreal season, in a bad way. I’m still going at it but it’s hard to stay motivated when you heard 1 single gobble 3 weeks ago…….

Mine gobbled, but all late in the morning, 940 to 1020. Covered up with hens earlier

I had a season like that a few years ago but they were strutting and acting normal just silent. This season I see birds every time out. They are still acting like winter birds for the most part. Very very weird. I’m thankful for the bird I killed Tuesday. He half strutted a few times and purred a bit.
