Hey All,

I have a hankerin to try something new (Go Figger)...

I've Turkey Hunted for about 6-7 years now, have always been able to call them in and heck last year I had a Jake dancing around in front of me at 25 yards with the hen decoy (no I did not shoot him as I am sure it was under 75 lbs... Do you know this story?)...

Tom's - you know them FULL GROWN Thunda Mama Jamas - just seem to keep their distance... So...

I was thinking that my .50 or .54 are a might to big to shootem with...

How about a .32 or .36?

Let me know your thoughts!

Caliber Choice

Be mindful of your state's regs when choosing. I do not have it in front of me but seems that I read in the Georgia regs that it must be .44 / 20 gauge or larger.

Caliber

Like I said, didn't have it in front of me. I stand corrected.

Dude if you got turkeys that wiegh 75#s ya need ta do one of two things. ONe come borrow my 54 cal, or two stop huntin in somebodys emu farm (LOL).

You could down load a 50 with a 490 and hopefully not mess him up too bad.....I'm trying to trade a 50 for a 32 or 36 right now. Got no use for a 50 cal (my big game gun is a 54) And my 54 would tear a turkey up sumpin fierce...... BUT! if ya just lookin for an excuse to buy a different smoke pole caliber??

Lemme throw another one atcha..... how about 40 cal?? I love mine.
