Heading out shortly. Local WMA. Plan to make a small shift in the same area as last night. We’ll see if it’s burnt yet. Will shoot any legal buck or a doe.

Sitting in a hardwoods bottom on private land in Paulding. Praising the Lord for the rain coming in was able to sneek in without making a peep!

First time in my life pulling back in a deer with my compound. My nerves got to me I rushed the shot and missed her. Crazy thing is she didn't even really spook just kind of walked off slowly and still grazing on leaves! Oh well I am a rookie at bow hunting for deer.
Maybe I will get another chance at another deer, Lord willing. At least I didn't wound the ole girl glad it was a clean miss!

Woooo man. I’m soaked to my core. Rain gear deployed, waiting on it to let up. Thunder got a little sketchy for a bit. Couple edges of diversity coming together here. Food nearby. Hoping something gets up for a stroll when this weather passes through

I'm just a rookie now hunter! But if I had my 30-06 a different scenario would be taking place. It it is all good! Fun learning a new way.

Yes sir, but I am way more confident with my rifle. My heart still is an issue though. Regardless of buck or doe my hearts races like it was my first day hunting in 92.

Usually the very first deer I miss every year. Use the wrong pin hit a limb something.. after that good to go. I have been bow hunting for 32 years

I can tell ya for certain bow hunting is way more fun and exciting ! There was a span for 7 or 8 years I was bow only.. killed plenty. I’m back on a bow only kick again. Been this was for a couple years

First sit for me at my lease in Polk co. Sitting on a clover patch with a feeder. Have seen 2 does, 3 fawns, 5 quail and 2 rabbits. It’s about time for this thing to fill up with deer like my cams have been showing.

Ended up having 2 small bucks in velvet and 8-10 does/fawns come in.

I ended up having another big group of very mature does come in. Closest was 7 yards but..... when I drew back I got busted. Off they went. What a hoot!
