Man I just love the outdoors after a rain. Everything is turning green, the flowers are popping with some color, birds are singing, even my poke chops are smelling better and my bourbon tasting a little better. Don’t care if you have 1 acre or 1,000 acres, my little 18 acres is like paradise after a rain. I know y’all’s are too. Ramble over.

Even the gobblers are out! He didn’t mind my grilling and chilling.

But I agree, rain just seems to calm everything down, it just so peaceful. I can just sit on my porch and watch a storm roll though and listen to the rain on the roof for hours. Just sitting there listening, drinking, thinking...

Yep. What I did all day. Cleaned some guns, drank, re organized tackle boxes, drank some more and then changed the oil on my 2 mowers. Then grilled and chilled. Good day.

Yep me and the dog did some shop organizing today til the rain hit. Used to get mad when it rained on my rare day off, I’ve learned to appreciate the peacefulness of a good rain now. Spent the afternoon on the porch, just being.
