I've been MIA since the season started, and been catching up here on the forum. Y'all have been killing it (literally)!
Had a slow start to the season this year hunting my usual archery-only public land spots, and then a rough mountain bike injury that slowed me down. Things turned around a few weeks ago after getting permission to archery hunt a piece of private property. Scouted and hung a few cameras before returning a few days later and hanging a couple sets. Had a couple nice bucks on camera where one of the sets was hung. However, something told me to hunt the other set first, and the following morning, I killed this one, my best archery buck to date!
