I know all about posting pics and how to take them with a newspaper. How are we to take pictures using our cell phone as the reference for the date? Do we just hold it up and then cut the area around the phone out for a closeup or what?

You will need to be holding your cell phone up in the picture..Then another close up picture where we can see the date clearly....I recommend using the newspaper instead of the phone..There will be less confusion but the phone thing is acceptable.

Ok that is cool, just wondering in case I wasn't able to get a paper at any paticular time. I plan on using a paper anyway just wanted to know how it was going to work.
