Good catch. Definitely not native. Was on a friends property along the creek's shoreline. Sadly there is a lot of other non-native plants everywhere.
Yep, I've spent a good bit of my life eradicating invasives. I do have a Jap maple in my front yard, and it's a beautiful tree.

I see more Chinese Privet than anything else. It is everywhere, even remote locations.
Yep. And multiflora rose, Asiatic bittersweet, and Japanese stiltgrass.
