Big cat

Took my step dad out after something big. He got his biggest fish ever today. Biggest 2 fish. First he caught 3 blue cats around 4 pounds. Then a blue cat about 35 pounds. Then this big flat head hit. He could barely reel it in. He kept trying to give me the rod but I made him finish. Good morning on Oconee. Using cut shad and fishing in some deep holes in the river channel.

Wow...glad you made him finish the catch. I know he was very proud, as he should have been. As my 4 year old granddaughter says, "I did it all by myself".........

He has Parkinson’s so it made it even tougher. It was his best day fishing by far.

When I put new carpet I wanted something I could clean and cut bait on. The front of the boat is mine the rest is the little ladies.

I’m too lazy to clean them. I put everything back. I always put back anything big ones anyway hoping to catch again one day. I really prefer the ones like you cook. Pan sized. I will randomly keep a few every now and then.
