Tech student faces child sex charges

Peachtree City police have arrested a Georgia Tech student on charges that he arranged over the Internet to meet a 14-year-old girl to have sex.
The student, identified as Miguel Velazquez, actually was chatting online with a police officer.
The meeting was to take place at the Wal-Mart in Peachtree City. But police say Valazquez got lost and stopped by the Peachtree City Library to use a computer. That's where he was arrested.
Georgia Tech officials say they are checking on his status as a student.
