This is one of the most common chemicals in forestry site prep. What I’d like to know is folks thoughts on whether or not it’s rain activated. All I’ve been told, is that it’ll rain helps to activate quicker and work better. I was told today that I’m wrong. Anyone know the answer to this?

It's not rain activated per say, it does require soil moisture to be its most effective, only about 20%-25% of what's sprayed will be taken up by the foliage, the majority will be taken up from the soil by the roots and will need moisture to get into the root zone
