Cut Mark

Ya'll know I could post a pic a day forever don't you? Here is a water find and it is cut mark on a mammoth leg bone. As wide as it is, it would almost have to come from an axe or hatchet. I am assuming cut the middle and peel the muscle all the way back and get the tendon. Waste nothing.....

Most interesting. Is that a Georgia or Florida find, Matt?

That is a heckuva find! I can imagine the size of mammoth tendons, talk about some sinew!

Wow...When i first looked at it I thought "cool he found some metal" :) But mammoth bone with a hatchet mark...Thats just AWESOME!
