Well twenty bags of pine bark mulch is now in place. Went to town and bought some 34-0-0 to side dress my corn later today. Loaded 40 bales of pine straw to spread out around the yard.

Definitely can't start that with him.
I have enough trouble already.
He doesn't know and doesn't care.
I try to tell him to look at his phone when he takes his meds but it does no good.
He just grabs one. Some days I'm sure he doubles up and some days takes none

Might try to pull some horse nettles.
Probably not wet enough for that but needs to be done.

Just saw a prelim race shot and the track is sloppy muddy. I don't know how to pick horses on a wet track. The few times I went to the greyhound races when living in FL I found the heaviest dogs tended to run better on wet tracks.

Bet I have sprayed 50 thistle plants in the last 3-4 days. A couple had yellow flowers which I don't recall ever seeing before.

Never saw yellow blooms on thistle.
Probably some new highly invasive variety resistant to roundup.

I am walking the yard looking. Those granules I put down really did a number on the weeds.
Been working for several months. I didn't do much because I wasn't sure it would work.
I'll double down next year
