We fished the afternoon. Guy we meet fished the morning and part of afternoon caught 14 total near section 1 and 3.

Don't ya just love fly fishing. every trip brings a new adventure. no harm is admitting all that. what X tippet were you using when he broke off and what did he hit? have you made a redemption reservation? glad the water wasn't that cold. i have had my waders full of water a couple of times. even with a wading staff i have managed to fall. not always in the summer time.

I was using 4x 8 pound fluro tippet.

Anyone ever fish Dukes in the rain. Looks like it could be a wet afternoon fishing. I have had luck with Bass fishing in the rain. Did not know if trout fishing was the same with the trout liking to feed in the rain.

Fish are already wet.
