Going on elk hunt and thought as I near completion of my shooting skills on sticks and backpack at different ranges, I test myself on a full size target like this one. Think it would help with my nerves on the hunt as last time I saw an elk it was in a zoo park and I was a little kid.
Think it would flap in the wind so have to tie it down.
The below one looks better for wind but does not have a way to patch holes, only replace kill zone. It is very expensive though.
I understand it is only a broadside shot target. You can get a front quartering shot target but not a back quartering shot. I was just going to go with a broadside shot target as I may pass on a quartering shot anyway. Does anybody use these? Pros and Cons. Is there a brand you prefer. Thanks in advance for any replies.
