Food plots

We planted two 1/4ac plots about a month ago. They are super green, thick, and leafy. The first time we really tried to do it the right way. My question is, when do deer typically start eating in plots? Very few, if any, tracks and not much sign of anything eating. We planted a mix of oats, turnips, rape, radish, peas. We thought by now the deer would be tearing it up.

They will browse through but they are hitting the white oaks hard on our land right now

Put some cages in the plots. May be eating more than you think.

We do have a ton of acorns still falling. I guess we'll just save the plots for later.
