For the Hat Guys...

I have been wearing this hat daily at work for well over a year now...It is by Outback Trading, a #1481 Trapper. Made of oilskin.



It's been dropped, mashed, rained on, baked on, generally mistreated and given no quarter...

I can wholeheartedly declare it to be a bargain, at the $59 I paid.

Outback Trading is good stuff.

I have oilskin rain coat, “slicker”, probably the best long coat I have ever bought. Not cheap, but one and done.

I’ll definitely check into this.

It does get hot in summer...but not noticeably more than other hats. It's got three good sized vents on each side.

Nice looking noggin topper for summer I prefer a good shantung straw hat, they are good to keep the sun off ya and cool also. That's just me though.

Had to break out the warm weather hat today to walk the dogs. This one gives a really nice air flow around my head.
