Fort Perry youth hunt

My son was drawn for the youth hunt at fort perry this year. I'm familiar with the wma as I've deer hunted it several times, but never turkey hunted it. I've heard the bird population there is not great but again, no personal experience. Anyone got any insight to the turkey population there? I'll do my share of scouting before the hunt but if I'm wasting our time there let me know.

Your best bet other than scouting would be seeing if you could get in touch with whoever manages the wma
