Pan seared scallops with pasta in a sauce made from duck bacon drippings, flour, chicken stock, thyme, onion, garlic, asparagus tips, and lemon.

Valley Head Bread….. the best thing I’ve found in a long time! Toasted some up with Parmesan, creole seasoning and crumbled duck bacon.

We decided to eat at one of our favorite restaurants, I tried a new menu item, called the border steak, it was great, just more food than I needed before going into work the graveyard shift, but, that didn't stop me :biggrin3:20230512_183846.jpg

That's from Monarca, its behind Triangle grocery plaza. I really like their food. El Coyote is great too, and we're getting a Las Palmas soon, we don't have a shortage of good Mexican food in Rockmart.
