Job Type and Environment: Full-time Lead Heat Treating Maintenance Mechanic.
This position is a multi-craft maintenance position with a heavy focus on the Mechanical skill set that requires working in a hands-on industrial environment. The heat treat maintenance technician role carries a wide range of duties from mechanical to electrical on a small to large scale depending on need. The ideal candidate will be result-driven and work safely performing maintenance and repair operations necessary to keep plant, equipment, machinery, & tools in good operating condition. Relocation reimbursement available for the right candidate.
Job Responsibilities:
• Inspects, repairs, installs, modify and maintain electrical systems, circuits and various other types of mechanical/electrical and related equipment. Strong industrial electrical skills are a Plus! Heat Treat furnace maintenance experiences a plus!!! Rigging or millwright experiences a plus!!!
• Basic PLC and industrial schematic troubleshooting experience
• Welding (MIG or Stick). Oxygen / Acetylene torch cutting experience
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with compressed air systems and components
• Installation of industrial equipment
• Ability to align motors and couplings & rebuild pumps
• Computer Skills Excel, Word, CMMS
• Order or source new replacement parts
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Will need to pass a maintenance test
• High School or Equivalent
• 3 years minimum experience in Industrial Maintenance in an Industrial or Manufacturing environment
• Must be flexible to work weekends or overtime if needed.
• Pay Range $20 to $30/HR depending on experience
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Be able to work in tight spaces. Lift at least 50 pounds
• Must be able to work from a scissor lift or ladder.
• Forklift driving experience
• Must have your own hand tools
Required education:
• High school or equivalent
Required experience:
• Industrial Maintenance in an Industrial or Manufacturing environment
• Basic PLC and industrial schematic troubleshooting
• Basic pipe threading skills
• Welding
• Forklift driving
