The Georgia Trappers Association will be hosting the 8th annual Youth Trapping Competition again this year. It is open to all youth under 16. This has been a great event for the kids. They have a lot of fun, make new friends, and anticipate trap checks on Saturday and Sunday morning like it is Christmas again. This is a good way to introduce children into the world of trapping.
Don't let Sunday be an obstacle as we will have an outdoor devotional time and message from a couple of lay speakers.
If there are any interested adults who would like to help out as a mentor you can contact us as well. We do ask that mentors be experienced trappers in both land and water sets and have a lot of patience to work with and teach children.
