Plenty cool enough for a fire here this evening. Smoking some chicken wings to be finished in the fryer a little later.

Yes sir it is a beautiful afternoon , perfect weather ! I fired the grill up myself . Cooked steaks for my daughter and her boyfriend . Found some corn from last year’s garden that I froze still in the shucks . Went ahead a grilled some backstrap for tomorrow .

Little local meat market/processor has weekly deals . Had 5 ribeyes for $30 this week . I prefer bone in but these were delicious

Our middle Son drove up to see us last night. We dined at his favorite Italian restaurant Friday eve and he asked for a home cooked meal today. He suggested Chicken Parm. So I made that with a cheesy garlic bread.

A glorious afternoon /evening it was!
Threw the last of the Publix Christmas special rib roast steaks on the grill.
Mrs Fever made a bowl of greenery to eat before the main course and a baked tater to go with. Came out darn good... and I have leftovers for lunch!
