Good morning with my son. My PB crappie.

Fished from 9:00-2:00 on the local reservoir. We cleaned 19 crappie and 1 spotted bass. Threw back about a dozen tiny crappie and some largemouth. The biggest one, 2lb 14oz, I put in the freezer. If the taxidermy bill isn’t ridiculous, I’m going to have it mounted. I haven’t had a fish mounted in over 30 years, but I’m not sure if I will ever catch a bigger crappie.
Majority of fish ate a minnow tipped jig in 18’-22’ of water trolled around .7mph. Water temp was 48*. Judging by his smile, I think your son had an even better time than your. Good times.

Wow! Nice fish!….hope it’s not too much extra to get the can mounted with it too?

That's a wall hanger.
Reminds me of one I caught on a minnow 35 years ago under a boathouse on Lake Harding... except mine developed freezer burn after a couple years and never made it to the taxidermist.
