Hunted almost all day. After many setups, a LOT of hens, three strutters put on one heck of a show for almost an hour. At 5:45 my nephew smoked his first long beard. many thanks to my good friends who allowed us to hunt their properties. We will give it one more shot in the morning before heading back home. Thankful that the good lord has blessed me with this opportunity to share my passion with my nephew.

Thank you everyone. We hunted til noon today. Saw two groups of jakes (11&2). And a ton of hens. Very little gobbling at daylight. Had an awesome time with an awesome kid. Hopefully we have a great turkey season ahead. Mine has already been made. Anything more would just be icing on the cake, er turkey nuggets.
