Have a couple cans but yet to use it.

Going to paint a guard that goes over a red dot optic as well as a polymer stock.

It was hard to get for a while…now back in stock.

Anyone have experience with the stuff ?

Yes,
De-grease everything. Then do it again.

Watch the video on Brownell's web site. That technique for spraying a "mist coat" is really important. It gives the surface "teeth" for the cover coats to bind to. I've had really good luck with it - done several guns, including some complicated camo patterns using templates.

It's good stuff. Prep is important and you'll like the results.

Post pics of the project!

don't use the matte clear...it is gloss in disguise

where the chemical pools under the rifle muzzle.. the black is coming off of a chrome moly .270 I did. I bead blasted it first then cleaned it twice with denatured alcohol before I coated it.

no problems on the .260 in black as of yet...it is stainless
I have used clear, matte black and OD
