Horse hair worms

i have only noticed these in the last 2 years. They come out after it rains. About a foot long and about as thin as horse hair. Anybody else see these. They remind me of what a parasite would look like.

Do they have a hammer head like a hammerhead shark? If so its some sort of Planaria

I don’t think so. They a hard, not soft like a red worm.
