I admit, it's weird...

I have a weird, or what I think is weird, new obsession.

I went to Holland on a work trip earlier this Fall. We ate lunch with some of the plant workers every day. Catered deli sandwiches and drinks were either milk, juice or water. One day an older gentleman name Roy sat beside me and mixed karnemilk (buttermilk) and orange juice in the same glass. I was intrigued and tried it... it is delicious! I have it with breakfast quite a bit now. Or like right now as I'm making buttermilk cornbread.

I had never heard of it. Don't knock it until you try it!

I have never heard of it either. So, after reading your post I mixed a small glass 50/50 to try. Not bad, definitely better than buttermilk by itself.

Nothing is better than either one by themselves, so together should be at least 1/2 as good to 200% better.

Got sidetracked and didn't get a pic but it s was fit to eat. Big pot of pinto beans over some rice and a skillet of buttermilk cornbread. Nobody went to bed hungry!

Nothing is better than either one by themselves, so together should be at least 1/2 as good to 200% better.

I'll have to give a try. We always have OJ on hand and buttermilk about half the time. I'll try anything once.
