The new store is targeted to open in 2014 and will be a leading anchor of the recently announced 1,200-acre LakePoint Sporting Community & Town Center located at the Red Mountain and Emerson exits off Interstate 75.

BTW...I shared this to provide heads up to the hunters, fishermen, shooters and boaters that might be looking for employment or a change to what you love. Besides the ones listed in this press release there are other stores slated as well including Jacksonville, FL. which I'm sure plenty of GON folks would frequent.

This deal sounds a lot better than the indoor ski slopes that the Gov. shot down last year. I hope it goes through, I'm tired of driving to Montgomery all of the time. I'm guessing that this will all go on the same property as the slopes were supposed to.

There's been a sign up with Bobby Cox's and Freddie Gonzales picture on it for approx. 2 years, but i've not seen any dirt work what so ever. :huh:
