Did you read the part about the fall turkey season.

I think Clark Hill has the potential for a 100lb.blue.

Anybody think GA will produce a 100 pound blue cat on rod and reel?

It will happen, there has been some big ones already caught and Cat fish is a species that will continue to grow as long as it lives and has the habitat to support the growth.

With the massive amounts of Blue Back herring in the state, its only a matter of time till some real bruiser fish start to appear.

Wow thats a big fish.

I don't see why not. NC has had a 105 and a 117, with a 143-pounder caught on the VA side of Kerr Lake that is mostly in NC. SC has had a 109 and a 113. Alabama had a 111 and a 120. Tn has a 112. So, I would be very surprised if someone didn't catch a hundred-pounder eventually in GA.

I know of two cats over 90 caught on jugs in Clark's Hill. One was a blue, and the other was a flathead.
