More Fresh Fish!!!

Good time on the river this morning! Incredible numbers of white bass with some crappie, spots and yellow bass mixed in. Fried up some crappie and spots this evening along with some fries, brussel sprout slaw and some some homemade wickle pickle tartar sauce.

Yes, fished the Chattooga River this morning. About 30 minutes south of me.

I thought I had a record white bass for a bit after those two spots whacked that bait….

Don't forget them yellers fry up just about better than any thing that swims.

Yep! There’s a few filets mixed in with the rest in the frig!! My friend had never had one so he took most of the ones we caught home with him. Relative to the white bass etc we didn’t catch many of them.

Just can’t beat it when it’s done that way!! Best fish I’ve ever eaten were caught in the hoochie and we fried them that night on the river bank.

Wish I could figure out Nickajack! Prettiest non saltwater place I’ve ever fished but man it’s different from what I’m used to.
