I bought a couple of those M-40i late last year from Midway when they were 74 dollars.
I did have one of the M-40i cameras to start leaking water into the battery compartment. Ruined the camera! Midway accepted the return and replaced the camera.
Pictures are really good and video is pretty good as well. Over all I'm pretty satisfied with the cameras.
The only caveat with the M-40i, battery life is great while just taking pics but is terrible when in video mode.
If you want a camera for video, you better look elsewhere!!
