Man Dub you done knocked the cover off the ball. She’d probably like a few printed and framed pics you took of this meal, they look amazing. If I look at this meal one more time I’m gonna have a hefty grocery bill tomorrow.

I want to thank ya'll hugely for the kind words.
It was a swiftly put together meal. Things have been a bit crazy since Tuesday evening....when I was plating up their dinner....received a disturbing text from a former employee, who is blaming me solely for ruining his life. It's been strange ever since. Reported the matter to my local police. Drove over to the county he resides in to file a police report there yesterday.
Got home and put this meal together swiftly.
Lump meat crab cakes were straight from the Publix deli....nothing I can take credit for. I split the lobsta open and stuffed it with butter. The fillets were dosed up with Paymaster's steak recipe....only I subbed in Red Eye Express since I was couldn't find my jar of Montreal Seasoning (think it was used on a work cook). I did hit it with L&P's roostershire sauce vs the soy. I liked the flavor.
The salad was fairly decent....spring greens with eggs, onion, croutons and a hearty dose of those fried onion toppers (game changer).
The Ed's Red on the crab cakes was something I went ahead and did for 'em as I was plating it up.
The plan was for this meal to be for my wife and I and T-Rex & his girlfriend would join us for dessert.
Well....due to me being delayed....the cook was an hour behind schedule....kids showed up just as I was bringing the steaks in....They ate like they were starving.
I sampled a slice of steak and that was that for me. I'll take their word that everything was good. They tore into it. I think there is some cheesecake & salad leftover. My focus is now on breakfuss....my favorite meal of the day

I just drooled on my seff. It's my son's birthday this weekend and he has proclaimed Monday as "The Day of Meat". We shall see what we can do. I cant sow him this thread tho, I could never live up to it...

Well.....funny thing is my birffday is a couple weeks after my wife's. My parents & sister's family were all coming down next weekend to celebrate it with me.....had a big ole cook planned....my future Eagle Scout nephew was gonna show me how to grill. We were planning on joining forces and throwing down some brisket.....pulled pork.....yardbird.....sides & desserts for three days.
Plans changed yesterday do to some developing circumstances.....We'll be heading up there to visit them instead.
Nephew is all about campfire cooking.....I'mma throw a Weber or two in the bed of my truck and we'll see what's up.
