Madden forgot more about football than most others ever knew. He was one sharp coach and a player's coach who could get them boys playin' lights out.

Was this really true? I was telling my wife about it and she was dubious and pointed out how exhausting driving a motor home cross country is and I started thinking it may be a bit of a myth. I hope it ain’t…..it’s part of the legend that was Madden. Mas was a great coach and a great announcer….very few if any have come close. Very sad news.

Bands do it so it must not be too bad. We’ve done it several times in our MH and it’s a lot…..but the kids, who had full time drivers like Madden, come through it surprisingly well rested LOL.
