My late father's Stevens 311 Double barrel 16 gauge.

Dad killed his 1st turkey with this gun sometime in the early to mid 80s. Best I can remember he shot Winchester Super X in 6s to do that. We lost dad last year and I got this gun.

Today I ran some Verdict 1 7/8 Oz of Tss 9s through it. I was super happy with the results in the fixed full barrel at 40 yards.

My goal now is to kill a gobbler with it before the season goes out...

Absolutely. And when it finally wears off over time, then you can add your touch to it and pass it on to the next in your family so that they can have something personal to both you and your father.
