If anyone has any info on what rifle fired this round would end my decades long search into it. Background history found in my grandfathers world war 2 trophy’s(eastern theater). Headstamp G.EGESTORFF linden b/h 360d. Thinking it’s German maybe a old Mauser but can’t really find to much on internet.

Found that by searching a few different ways, couldn't find a reference to what rifle used it though .
I know a lot more now with that info, I always wondered why he saved that particular round even had it de powdered, wish I could’ve met him.
