Mrs. Hoss has really gotten into the bread baking. Today, she made a couple of loaves using a method called poolish method. (https://bakerrecipes.com/artisan-bread-poolish-preferment-bread-recipe/). It turned out really good. She feels it’s the best she’s made.View attachment 1135667
Looks great. Had been wondering about a previous post of yours about sourdough bread and your blood sugar control. Was wondering if that was successful. Always looking to expand my horizons while staying healthy.

Can’t really say it made a difference. I typically will only eat 1 slice of bread a day and I have switched to the breads Mrs. Hoss is baking. Even if it hasn’t improved blood sugar, it sure tastes better. Blood sugar has been a bit nuts for a couple of months due to some medication changes so I can’t really tell if it’s made any difference.
