Saturday March 7, 2020 is the date for our next shoot at the North Georgia Traditional Archery Club.

We plan to begin shooting at 9:00 a.m. We’ll have 20 3-D targets set in the woods in various presentations that will provide you and your family with a fun filled day of shooting. There’ll be big targets, little targets, close targets and long targets and they’ll all be fun targets to shoot at. We will pull the targets at 3:00 p.m.

As you may know, we have only one stake set at our non-competitive shoots this season so that people don’t feel compelled to shoot every target from the stake. The idea is for the stake to establish the line to the target and for you to choose the place from which you will shoot that target along that line. We will continue with that scheme until August and it’ll be back to established stake for the various classes.

For the enjoyment of everyone, please keep group sizes to six shooters or less. More than six really backs the course up and forces people to either wait for large groups to clear a target or to skip ahead and potentially miss a target. I’m sure everyone can understand the need for keeping things moving well on the course. Thanks for your help in this endeavor.

Lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Our host for this shoot is Jeff Hampton and Tomilee Varnell.
