4. Cutting trees of any size, unless dead or fallen across roadways is strictly prohibited!

10. Alcohol is not allowed anywhere except Rattlesnake Camp. No hunting allowed while intoxicated.

Hunting Regulations:

1.’Does’ taken should be approx. 65lbs. Or larger. We all know that it is difficult to judge the size of a single deer so select your deer carefully. The intent of this rule is to try not to harvest a yearling.

2. Bucks harvested must be 6pts. or greater. Clarifying measure: A point will be counted if an antler growth protrusion can retain a ‘man’s wedding band’, assuming the normal antler position.

3. Shooting of Bucks less than 6 points is prohibited.
There are only two exceptions to this rule:
-If a deer is visibly wounded in any way, we encourage hunters to take humane action and harvest the suffering animal. A visible wound could be an injury sustained from a car collision or a gunshot wound. Use your best judgement in this situation.
-Any child or grandchild of a club member that is under the age of 16 that has never harvested a deer in their ‘hunting life’, will be allowed to harvest any size deer as their first deer. In this situation, after their first ever deer kill, the individual will then have to follow the 6 pt. Rule.
Any individual, regardless of age, that has killed a deer before, will be required to follow the 6 point requirement.

4. Illegal Deer Kill Fines-We all know mistakes do happen. Easily, a small button buck could be mistaken for a doe. On the other hand, in years past we were forced to set up these rules due to former members consistently violating our rules and killing small bucks with much horn visible. All fines must be paid promptly or hunting privileges may be suspended or revoked.
Button Buck (defined as 1.5 inch or less of antler growth on one side) $25
Illegal Buck (defined as More than 1.5inch of exposed antler growth) $75

Any member with multiple violations will be addressed by the board members.

5. Deer Stands permanent or portable are allowed. Stands must be marked and (clearly identified with the owner’s name.) At the request of our landlord, there are to be NO NAILS used in securing of stands to trees.

Guest Privileges:
1. ALL GUESTS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED BY A BOARD MEMBER!
2. Members and their immediate family may hunt at all times. Immediate family includes spouse, children (under the age of 19 or under the age of 22 if attending an accredited institution of higher learning) and grand children under the age of 18. NO EXCEPTIONS. Children and grandchildren must be accompanied with parents.
3. No guests will be allowed until after Thanksgiving Nov. 22nd. (With out board approval) If there are any unique situations, the board will consider exceptions. Aside from that no guests until after Thanksgiving.
4. All guests must be approved by either club president or vice president. Members must contact Pres. Or VP prior to bringing guests. The purpose of this is to manage the number of guests at the property. The Club believes that guests are the source of potential new members, and the board encourages members to bring guests as opposed to hunt alone. But in order to balance fairness to all members we have established these controls.

5. A guest fee of $25 per visit is required. A guest is only allowed 2 visits per season. (one day or two day trips count as a visit) A visit/trip is defined as 48 hours or less. Guest fees should be paid promptly. The collection of the guest fees is the responsibility of the host member.

6. Host members are responsible for the actions of their guests. Guests must follow rules of the club. It is the member’s obligation to review rules with guest. The host member will be financially responsible for any fines their guest may incur.
