Even a 410 turkey load ain't powdered up like a field load dove shell.

I was shooting a 410 last year (and killed a nice turkey) 4 months out of surgery to fuse 3 vertebrae in my neck. Probably a little more than I needed to shoot, but wasn't sure I could or should shoot em with a .22 rifle.

I strapped my 410 to a Bog Pod and let that take up part of the recoil (might help you if you're feeling like the recoil is a little much so soon after having that procedure done).

I went Tuesday and shot my 20 (light recoil) and my 410. Light recoil 20's kick like a mule compared to the 410. Had to remind myself how much fun I used to have shooting the 12 gauge with Mag Blend's.

Still, I'll likely take the 20 Saturday because it's throwing 475 pellets compared to the 294 pellets out of the 410.
