Past Few Nights and a Morning

Grilled pork chop, mashed sweet taters, okra roasted on the grill with parmesan, and some of the leftover green bean casserole.

Salad, NY Strip and baked potato

My version of a breakfast bowl, Conecuh, cheese grits and a egg over medium

Ribs, some thick cut fresh okra dipped in buttermilk, breaded and pan fried and some smokehouse beans. I've gotten to where I said fooey with the whole notion of the "competition" style ribs, ie with a bite to them etc. I like a thick heavy brown sugar induced bark and fall of the bone meat.

Also roasted a chicken, served that up with fresh green beans, leftover baked beans, and something akin to a backyard surplus succotash....... basically onions, banana peppers, eggplant, okra and maters all sweated down with a ton of garlic and basil.

Fall off the bone. Just maybe touch with a butter knife. I like that style.

I think ribs are coming this weekend! Thanks for the craving.

As for the ribs, it's hard to disagree, with dang near melt in your mouth, chews like butter, and taste great, to me also.
