Next time somebody has a Bradford Pear fall or blow down, use it. Think u would be pleasantly surprised. Lady I sold firewood to, gave me some to try smoking with, they were burning it in fireplace. Oh my, some of the best stuff i have smoked with.

Yeah, I've used some and it was pretty good smoking wood, IMO.

I have, and still do use bradford pear. It gives a light clean, fruity smoke for me.
