Went turkey hunting this morning and didn’t hear any gobbling. Was hunting down close to the river so went to plan B. Got a mess before the storms got here. Good times

Sweet!! The creeks and rivers of middle GA are calling to me more and more. Being a Northern (Yankee), I am starting to get more used to the snakes and gators, I think??

Scaled, gutted, top and bottom fins removed. Gonna go for a swim in some hot peanut oil tomorrow. One of my absolute favorite meals. Keep an eye out in da cafe and you’ll see these red bellies there, I’m sure

I fillet my brim, shellcrackers, and crappies just like filleting a bass...use an electric knife and then cut out the rib cage with the same Buck hunting knife I got in the Boy Scouts a thousand years ago.
