825am, 30 yards quartering hard....20 foot blood trail. Spinet-stomach-heart shot 1st.....she got back up, one lung and heart shot second...................Those Sonic Pro heads are awesome.....sounded like a beaver slapping the water when it hit her...that was my free one BTW.

Because it is still archery season, we are allowing your buck to be entered in the contest. Congrats on the bow kill.

As of Saturday the 14th when the gun powder starts burning, there will no longer be any exceptions to not having the required items in the pictures

*down over a creekcrossing redoaks raining down acorns . I havent shot a button in 8 yrs - I feel bad about it . Its rare if I even pick my bow up unless I'm sure its a doe --or a really big buck. I dont recommend shooting nubs bucks but I am posting pics for contest . I am the only hunter in camp with a bow -I took a jabs this weekend but who's laughin now I dont need no stinkin gun !!!

Heres my first entry

I had taken a week of leave for hunting the last bow season at oaky woods. I got into stand around 3 30 and this buck came into my deer in a can call. He stepped out at 12 yards and ran maybe 40 the crimson talons really put a hurtin on them. This buck isnt the biggest by any means and I have let many bucks this size walk but this is my first buck ever and the first I have ever seen while bow hunting. I just wanted to get my first buck, he may not be a trophy to many but he is a trophy to me and will always be in my favorite hunting memories.
