In the process of buying a weekend getaway cabin in Pulaski county. What can you all tell me about the deer hunting in Pulaski county? Is it hard to find a lease in that area?

Yes. I imagine it's very difficult. You really have to become friends with a land owner to lease property. Most of the big land owners don't lease property. Good luck! Where is your cabin? On the river?

Buy in Ocmulgee Banks. Get the cabin and access to all the land, river, etc..

I had a lease there for many years with two different farmers. One of the families (Bob and Jim) owned the mill in Pineview and the other was another large land owner. Too much poaching went on and people did not want to prosecute. The fear were what would happen to their farm equipment left in the fields at night. We killed some good deer.
