Saw a listing on Craigslist for rabbit manure (pellets) for gardening. Anyone have any experience with it or opinions?
That sounds about right. I generally think of animal manures as a 2-2-2 product as most are right around that plus or minus. I believe the added benifit of soil building and attracting earth worms and soil life makes up for the low numbers, as compared to mined/manufactured fertilizers. I do feel folks are a little proud of these manures right now. I dont buy any as i make my own? It's a 2-1-1 fertilizer so I hope you get it cheap
It depends, rabbit is usually 2-1-1, chickens are usually 3-2-2 or 3-2-3, they sure seem proud of it, but somebody has to be crazy enough to pay for composted sorghum as well since that is being sold as a fertilizer as well. That sounds about right. Often heard that raising fish worms goes along with raising rabbits. Meat, fertilizer, and fish bait. That’s a triple lick!
