Well, I just ordered my new toy. Remington Custom Shop KS Mountian Rifle in a 300 Ultra Mag.

Anyone have a Custom Shop gun? What about an 300 Ultra Mag?

I have a Model 7 Custom Shop gun in..........I think it is in 7mm-08? Did you call down to Bo's in Reynolds? He usually has a few in his shop.

My Rem 700 is custom rifle from the muzzle to the recoil pad, in a weighted and balanced pillar beaded wood stock with a muzzle brake. It has less recoil than any 270. I shoot mainly 300 and up magnums, another one of new favorites is a 338 RUM, the hardest recoiling rifle I have at the moment is a 338.06 A square built on an Encore. Now that thing kicks. Not so much do to the cartridge but the design of the rifle. Like Mikey said try it you’ll like it
