Well while waiting on the results of the Ballard auction I was perusing the 1911 Addicts site looking for a 10mm 1911 long slide and came across this S&W 610 with a 5” barrel without the full under lug and some other customization. It was listed for $1750 and said make offer. So I sent him a message asking if he would take $1500 for it and he said there was no way they could sell it for that and he was about to change the price. He said one of his employees miss marked it, they have it on Gunbroker for $2499 and he was about to change it on the 1911 site but he said he would honor the $1750 price if I wanted it. So I said I will take it. With all the extras, porting, checkering, sights and action job and since it is a 5” barrel and doesn’t have the lock it was a great deal. It has been hand checkered along the top strap and barrel rib, the barrel and frame were bead blasted to a matte finish and the cylinder was fluted and polished. I think I am going to have it reamed a Little Dipper so I can shoot 10mm Magnum also
