Does any body have any info on a possible problem from several years back with Sako barrells? I have a 7mm STW that shoots horrible groups and I have heard that perhaps there was a problem. This is on a model 75. thanks
Actually there was a problem a couple of years ago but it was more of a metalurgical problem causing barrels to blow up. The web site had a range of serial numbers of the affected barrels. Is your stock laminated by any chance? I heard there was some problems with those too.
I have a Sako 75 SS in 7mm STW that shoots pretty good. What kind of ammo are you using? Have you checked your scope mounts? I would think the barrel is on down the list af things that cause accuracy problems.
