Showy Fall Shrubs

I'm right on the line of 7b/8a and in search of something for my small yard that will add a lot of fall color.
I do not think my lot can hold another tree on it, so trees are out.
We have deep shade or part shade (not part sun, part shade), no where gets full sun.

Any suggestions?

Fall blooming camellias can be stunning and are plenty cold hardy enough for your location. Some varieties do well in partial sun.
