Silver state rally - for you CAR folks

Headed up to do some pre elk scouting … nice ride. But, gotta detour leaving

i think Sunday is the Silver State Rally. They close a section of road, maybe ?90?100? Miles or so… and let ’em run so; the contestants are in town and getting ready. saw a Toyota and a lambo.. and all kinds of stuff in between. Pics from the hotel room.

The window driving shots are parts of the road where the rally is. A lot of straight, some curves.

NO SPEED LIMIT! During the race. It may be a timed rate… maybe some of you motor folks have better details..

That would be a fun road to open it up. I wanted to do the Gumball back when we had the corvette, but it has become a fashion show for the mega rich and not really a rally anymore.

We have the “you wanna go fast” runs in the mountains but not much else.

Most of the younger folks want to risk others lives by running the dragon in the mountains or blocking roads for donuts.

Almost all the other cars were gone the start or home ? In the morning. ceptin thisin And maybe one in the background. Most of the vettes took of about 5 min prior to pic, like 445a or so

The other road home is very different than the one they race on. Mo greener! trees and grass. Opposites sides of the same range, but big color differences
