small buck with no velvet.

I can't upload the picture but looks like I have a 6 point with no velvet and the other bucks have velvet ? anyone seen this before. I am in south ga. brooks country.

Yep , every season ! I checked a camera this week with several different bucks , only 1 still had velvet .

I have seen a good ten point still In velvet right next to a scrubby 5 and a small 8 each with no velvet. Thus was just this week at work.

I’m right above you that’s about what I got mine are loosing velvet daily

I’m thinking the SC bucks are out of velvet - most if not all of them.

Checked a food plot last evening and there were 4 scrapes on field edge.

I always associate loss of velvet - and the start of rubs and scrapes - with 5 September, give or take a few days.
